Motorola Droid X to go on sale July 15

This could be difficult times for those who already own a Motorola Droid as Verizon and Motorola have announced that the newest iteration in the Droid line, the Droid X, will be available to consumers on July 15.

The Droid X will carry a few new things with it from its predecessor such as a TI OMAP 3630 processor at 1GHz, HDMI out (seriously?  Do you want this thing on your tv), an 8 megapixel camera and the ability to capture video at 720P.  It will still have the 8GB default storage and a 16GB card included.

The Droid X will retail for $199 with the contract.  Also, comparable to what AT&T has done with the iPhone 4, if your contract update is sometime in 2010, Verizon will consider you eligible for the “new every two”.  Enjoy!
