PBS will air Video Games Live concert


Fan of video games?  Check.  Fan of music?  Check.  Fan of video game music?  Surely.   Then you’re in for an amazing treat.  PBS is going to air a 90 minute performance of Video Games Live on July 31 and of course, through its affiliate stations through August.  Planned tunes from such great franchises like Mario, Zelda, Sonic, Final fantasy, Chrono Cross, Guitar Hero, Halo and many more.  There will also be a CD and DVD/Blu-Ray release.  This is seriously an excellent opportunity for those to check out this beautiful side of the gaming culture.

Video Games Live is an excellent concert fronted by Tommy Tallarico as they play classic and new gaming music in their own orchestrated style.  It’s certainly a treat to see and you shouldn’t miss out on it.  And just for kicks, here is a teaser trailer to give you an idea on what to expect:
