Flash for Android delayed

Those of us waiting to get our hands on flash support for our Android based phones are sadly going to have to wait longer.  Originally scheduled to be released in the 1st half of 2010, it now appears that Adobe us delaying Flash 10.1 support until the second half of 2010.  But this just doesn’t affect Android users, this also affects the BlackBerry and WebOS market as well. This was originally mentioned by Adobe’s CEO Shantanu Narayen, who appears for an interview on CNN promoting latest releases.  In the same interview, Narayen also took a quick jab at Apple’s refusal to use Flash stating that it does hurt the consumer and that they will judge “for the experience that they want through their wallet.”  He’s got a point.

I would love to sit here and complain about the delay, but in reality I’m sure it’s for the best.  When its done and right, it’ll come.
