Apple unveils OS4 for the iPhone

Apple has just unveiled the iPhone OS4 which will be available in the summer for the iPhone and sometime in the Fall for the iPad.

They have a lot of high hopes for the newest OS and have finally implemented a multitasking feature!  Something that has been unusually missing for a long time now (that’s Apple for ya).  However, multitask support will only be available to the iPhone 3GS and the 3rd generation versions of the iPod.  Anything earlier (such as the iPhone 3g) will not support multitasking.

For a full list of features and updates, you can check them out over at engadget.com.
